CESR, the European securities committee, submitted its final advice to the European Commission on the UCITS Management Company Passport. And, surprisingly, CESR suggests introducing it with the next UCITS revision called UICTS IV. The Eurpopean Parliament is now posed to re-introduce this passport to the proposed new legislation despite the fierce resistance of Luxembourg and Ireland.
