Hugh Hendry, chief investment officer and partner at Eclectica hedge fund said on CNBC last week that regulators are fighting yesterday's battle and that hedge funds have no longer the ability to drive speculation in the markets, particularly the gold price. However, despite saying that the banking sector is insolvent, he feels more comfortable investing in a 10 year bond than in gold. Probably not bank bonds. (Story at CNBC)
